Last week, 139 workers at Lost Boys Interactive received notices of their termination, leaving many talented individuals without a job. From junior VFX artists to senior QA analysts, no role was safe from the layoffs. Even key positions such as executive producers and creative directors were not spared, further highlighting the severity of the situation. Prior to the layoffs, the studio boasted a workforce of over 200 employees, making the impact of the cuts even more significant.

Over the past couple of years, Embracer has laid off more than 8% of its global workforce, leading to the cancellation of projects like a potential Red Faction sequel.
