YouTube has recently introduced a new feature that allows creators to save music from the Shorts feed, making it easier to reuse Shorts audio in different applications. Instead of using workarounds, creators can now directly “Save Music” from the Shorts UI, adding the audio to their chosen sounds folder. This update aims to enhance music discovery and provide creators with more opportunities to incorporate audio cues into their content.
In addition to the music saving option, YouTube has also implemented music remix options for Shorts earlier this year. With music being a pivotal element of platforms like TikTok, YouTube is leaning into this trend, giving creators more tools to create engaging content with music at the forefront.
YouTube Studio’s “Inspiration” tab, previously known as the “Research” tab, now offers recommendations in three new languages – Japanese, Korean, and Hindi. This update enables creators to leverage AI-generated content tips, enter specific topics for inspiration, and receive video outlines to spark their creativity. The goal is to provide creators with valuable insights and prompts to boost their content creation process.
